From start to finish, your schedule is full of responsibilities that require loads of motivation. Keep your day going with these four tips.
Start out with a cold shower
Yeah, yeah. Nothing’s more relaxing than a nice, hot shower. But when you’re trying to wake up, a cold shower is the best way to go. Cold showers are known to increase alertness, which’ll fuel you up for the long day ahead. They are also known to stimulate weight loss, improve skin and hair, and help depression. Maybe you think it’s crazy, but the first step to kickstart your day is to conquer the cold shower.
A quick exercise
If you don’t have time for a full-blown workout, just take 30 minutes to do some moderate exercises throughout the day. These short exercises will keep you from tiring yourself out early without you getting out of shape.
Fuel up
It might shock you, but even slight dehydration can affect how your brain functions. Throughout the day, remind yourself to drink water. You may think you drink enough, but with even mild dehydration making you feel more anxious and tired, a reminder might save your day.
Take a breath
On days where you have a lot to do, you may feel like taking a break would be counterproductive. Breaks are a lifesaver and completely necessary, especially on those busy days. Take a break and a deep breath before moving on to your next responsibility.
