5 Healthy Snacks to Get You Through Your Busy Day.

Losing weight is a hard task to accomplish especially with so many unhealthy options beckoning at us constantly. However, some of the most likely times for you to break down and splurge are when that early morning or late afternoon hunger rolls. We have just the remedy with 5 healthy snacks that’ll help you get through your busy day.


1. Greek Yogurt

A simple way to get some extra calcium and some more natural probiotics into your daily diet. The best part of this one is there are a multitude of different ways to keep this one fresh and interesting. Our recommendations are the to start simple by adding simple natural ingredients like fresh granola or sliced fruits.


2. Dips

A great way to get through the day is to trick yourself into thinking you’re eating something bad by substituting it for a healthy alternative. We have great options for that by offering a few options for dips: Buffalo Chicken and Pickle Dip.

Pickle Dip

1 container cottage cheese blended(22ounce)

2 tbsp dry ranch

1 pkg honey ham (I use all natural)

Dill pickles diced (I did 2 cups)

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Blend 1 container of cottage cheese (Until smooth).

Add 2 tbsp of dry ranch seasoning,

1 large can of chicken breast (for this to shred).

Add Franks Hot Sauce (to your taste)

These are great options to spice up your raw veggies or even feel free to sample in a healthy bean-based chip (within moderation of course).


#3 Flat-out Rollups

This is another one of our favorites with a multitude of options. This snacks main ingredient is the Flat-out product which you can combine with many other yummy toppings. Humus is always a good option to get that little extra protein into your diet. Another great option is to spread the dips from option 3 about the flat-out creating another great delicacy.


#4 Back to Basics

For number 4 we thought it would be best to throw it back to the good old basics. Healthy snacks can be as simple as apple slices, celery sticks, or carrots. However, if you need a little more flavor to get through your veggies, try using cottage cheese and Lawry’s seasoning salt to give it a little more taste.


#5 The Herbalife Way
